First Practice Match

On Friday, September 29th, we hosted an exciting combined Pennant practice match between C.S.B.C. and Point Lonsdale at Clifton Springs. We’re thrilled to report that it was a resounding success!

This day provided our members with a fantastic opportunity to dust off their bowling skills, shake off the cobwebs, and engage in some competitive games. It served as a thrilling reminder of the joys of competitive bowling. However, the warm weather and the challenge of playing 21 ends straight left some of us feeling quite exhausted. This experience highlighted the importance of regaining our match fitness, particularly for those who don’t play regularly.

After all the matches concluded, we extended our hospitality to our friends from Point Lonsdale. We organized an enjoyable ‘Sausage Sizzle’ accompanied by a variety of delicious salads. It was a moment for everyone to relax, rejuvenate, and savor some scrumptious food. Of course, a few cold beverages added to the overall joy of the day.

We want to express our gratitude to all the members who participated and contributed to making this event a memorable one. Your enthusiasm and sportsmanship were truly commendable.
