GBR Women’s 60+ Singles

The GBR Women’s 60+ Singles took place on Sunday, October 1st, at Clifton Springs Bowling Club. This bowls competition showcased an exceptionally high standard of entries.

In the first round of matches, Sue Smith, Lorraine Nichols, and Bev Kingsbury emerged victorious, displaying their impressive skills on the greens. Unfortunately, Marilyn Fisk faced defeat in her round, highlighting the competitive nature of the tournament.

As the competition progressed to the second round, two of our talented players were eliminated from the running. However, Bev Kingsbury persevered, emerging as the last one standing from our team. She is set to compete in the finals, which will take place on Friday, October 7th, at Angelsea. We wish Bev the best of luck as she strives for victory in this prestigious event.
